ThinManage 2.3 thin client management software from Devon IT provides centralized control of enterprise-wide thin client deployments. By simplifying IT management of terminals, ThinManage further increases return on investment from Server-Based Computing.
How do I get ThinManage 2.3?
ThinManage is available free to all our customers using DeTOS-based thin clients. There are two different packages offered. Both are exactly the same appliance with the only difference being that one includes a pre-installed DeTOS upgrade package while the other does not. No matter which version you choose now, you always have the option of adding DeTOS packages later. Features
Centralized Control: Shutdown/reboot terminals (Wake On LAN). Add, delete, or change software and configuration without visiting desktop or device.
IP Range Searches: Identify and inventory thin clients on your network. (maintains a permanent inventory database.)
Shadowing: Use the new Shadowing feature available in ThinManage to assist your users with his/her thin client.
Remote Setup Configuration: Access the DeTOS Setup window to modify terminal settings.
Clone Settings: The cloning features in ThinManage allows you to create a clone (pull) the settings of one thin client and write (push) those settings to another.
Firmware Upgrades: Install new versions of DeTOS operating systems from a central location.
Intuitive GUI: Administrators are able to learn quickly for rapid adoption of daily use.
Virtualized: ThinManage is distributed as a virtual package, allowing you to install it on any platform running VMware® Server or Player.
Thin Client Requirements:
- Devon IT's Thin Client Terminals running DeTOS version 4.0.3c or higher.
- Remote shutdown and reboot features require Wake On LAN-capable terminals.
