Devon IT just got back from exhibiting with over 250 companies showcasing the latest technologies in virtualization and cloud computing products and services at VMworld 2012 in San Francisco, CA. VMworld offered many learning sessions, a Knowledge Experts program, numerous networking events, and a Solutions Exchange.
The show began with a reception on Sunday evening that included beer, wine, great food, networking opportunities, and most importantly a lot of fun! Our team set up a basketball net to give booth visitors an opportunity to win a Beanie Baby if they made the basket! It was a huge crowd pleaser and success!
On Monday, the first day of the VMworld 2012 convention, Devon IT made a huge announcement about our new business alliance with Acer! Devon IT was selected by Acer as the software provider for its new line of thin clients! The new Acer Veriton N Series Thin Clients come embedded with Devon IT’s DeTOS Linux-based operating system and Devon IT Echo™ Thin Client Management Software. You can view the release here.
Acer also made their announcement Monday at VMworld 2012. Acer announced how they are entering into the thin client market with new Veriton N Series, which will enable flexible and efficient virtualization.
