Job Description
Our team is looking for above-average experienced developers to help us build the next generation of our products. We keep our teams small, passionate and productive.
The products are primarily coded in C++ and Python using Linux as the operating system. They interoperate with other environments, including Windows. Components include servers, web interfaces, agents and databases. Concerns include scalability, security, performance, usability and testing.
We expect from you that you will enhance the team, take the initiative as appropriate and that great products are delivered on time.
You can expect from us a good working environment including a large multi-monitor setup, all the tools you need and an understanding of why the "Joel test" matters.
We also have a position available for a Software Architect if you want to spend more time on the overal structure of the products and less time coding. You will need to demonstrate previous experience in this position.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing commercial software
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, toolkits, libraries and operating systems
- Your own opinions and experience on how to improve the software development process
Participation in open source projects makes a great reference.

Job Description
You will need to manage our software development teams, keeping them running at peak performance to deliver quality products on time and meeting commitments.
On the technical side, we expect you to lead improving the development and testing environment and processes. You will use your team to participate in product requirement and design reviews and ensure the production of technical specifications, designs and architectures.
As a manager you will need to manage priorities and schedules, coordinating with product management, hardware and the management team. You will need to understand high level business requirements.
On the people side, you will perform reviews and coordinate mentoring of new employees. You will be responsible for hiring and firing.
We are expecting to hire great people who would be working from home elsewhere in the country so experience in managing distributed teams and people is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial software management experience.
