Devon IT to Unveil New Virtual Desktop Bundle at Citrix iForum '07
Packaged solution at $429 Per User from Devon IT, XenSource, Citrix, and IBM allows full PC desktop user experience with lower costs, higher security, and advanced manageability
King of Prussia, PA, October 22, 2007 - Devon IT, the fastest growing provider of desktop appliances, today announced the availability of a new virtual desktop bundle utilizing Devon IT desktop appliances, IBM servers, XenSource hypervisor, and Citrix software, and will unveil the solution at the Citrix App Delivery Expo this October 22-25 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Solutions are configured for 25-50 users, priced at $429 per user, and combine servers from IBM, XenSource enterprise grade virtualization, Citrix XenDesktop™, and desktop appliances from Devon IT. This cost-effective solution simplifies the tedious tasks of deploying and upgrading PC desktops and desktop software. The user experience is comparable to a dedicated PC but in a fully isolated, secure, and customizable desktop.
