Devon IT Announces New DeTOS 6 Operating System with Improved Graphics Performance for Thin Clients

Company bolsters line of thin clients, continues to advance as leader in server-based computing space

King of Prussia, PA, October 22, 2007 - Devon IT, the fastest growing provider of thin client terminals, today announced the availability of the new Devon Terminal Operating System (DeTOS 6) at Citrix iForum 2007. The new DeTOS 6 is available with wireless support and offers major improvements, including enhanced graphics performance, support for VPN, smartcard authentication, and 3G aircards.

DeTOS 6, available on all Devon 6000 series thin client terminals, has several updates including widescreen monitor support with resolutions up to 1920x1200. The operating system also includes 3G support for specific PCMCIA cards, improved boot-up speed, and updated VDI support including Leostream and Citrix. It also features a new Firefox browser with kiosk mode support, VPN support for Cisco/Juniper/Netscreen, and wireless support with WEP and WPA2.
