Devon IT's SafeBook Thin Client Achieves "Citrix Ready" Designation

SafeBook thin client adds value to customers in Citrix-driven environments with secure mobile computing requirements.

King of Prussia, PA, January 30, 2007 - Devon IT today announced its inclusion as one of the first participants in the Citrix® Read™ initiative, Citrix Ready helps customers identify third-party solutions that add the greatest value in Citrix Application Delivery environments. Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, announced the launch of the initiative on January 29.

Through the Citrix Ready initiative, Devon IT will gain significant marketing and sales reach by demonstrating compatibility with Citrix solutions. Devon IT's SafeBook™ thin client notebook will now carry the Citrix Ready logo, and will be featured at the Citrix Summit 2007 in Orlando, Florida, from January 28-31. Devon IT will also utilize the new Citrix Ready business-to-business e-catalog posted on www.citrix.com that connects participating alliance partners with customers.

Devon IT's SafeBook, starting at $799, is a mobile thin client notebook which does not have a hard disk, so no data or applications can be stored. Applications are installed directly on the company's servers which authorize users' remote access through Citrix ICA or Microsoft RDP protocols. The SafeBook runs Windows XP Embedded (XPe), especially adapted to the thin client/server architecture. This architecture allows the control of all types of management applications, ASP, Internet, and business applications.
