Mainline Information Systems to Resell Devon IT's NTA Virtual Office Secure Remote Access Appliance

Secure Remote Access Appliance Provides Unmatched Solution To Reduce IT Costs And Consolidate Infrastructure.

King of Prussia, PA, March 2, 2005 – Mainline Information Systems announced today that they have signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with Devon IT of King of Prussia, PA to resell its NTA Virtual Office Secure Remote Access Appliance. Under this agreement, Mainline Information Systems can now resell the NTA Virtual Office Appliance in the United States alongside Devon IT's direct sales force.

"The NTA Virtual Office Appliance solves the challenges presented by VPNs, Citrix, and other previous-generation solutions to remote access," explained Joe Makoid, President of Devon IT. "Devon IT developed the NTA Virtual Office as an unobtrusive appliance that acts as an application gateway for all your Windows, X11, and 3270 applications."

"We're excited to partner with Devon IT to deliver a leading-edge, Linux-based secure application access appliance," said Jimmy Fordham, Mainline Senior Vice President. "Mainline has an unmatched reputation for delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Our relationship with Devon IT allows us to help our customers provide secure access to remote employees and vendors, in a cost-effective and easy-to-implement manner."

The NTA Virtual Office is delivered as a server-based appliance that is ready to be installed in a data center. No software needs to be installed, and furthermore, the customer does not have the added responsibility of procuring the properly configured server. Once the NTA Virtual Office Appliance is connected to a network, only a few configuration settings (setting the IP address, network mask, and license key) are needed to complete the installation. The user-friendly administration GUI is designed so that any network engineer can easily perform the setup and configuration. This eliminates the need to have specially trained resources and allows a corporation to concentrate on its core business processes.

An IBM Premier Business Partner since 1989, Mainline Information Systems delivers IBM-based software, hardware, application solutions and services to more than 4,000 satisfied customers. Mainline is the largest U.S. solutions provider of IBM eServers and storage.
