Devon IT Joins IBM PartnerWorld To Offer NTA Virtual Office Secure Remote Access Appliance
Linux-Based Appliance Built on IBM Servers Provides Solution To Help Companies Reduce IT Costs And Consolidate Infrastructure.
King of Prussia, PA, February 15, 2005 – Devon IT of King of Prussia, PA today announced its participation in IBM PartnerWorld to promote and sell its NTA Virtual Office Secure Remote Access Appliance. The agreement supports their joint marketing initiatives.
The NTA Virtual Office is delivered as a server-based appliance that is ready to be installed in a data center. No software needs to be installed, and furthermore, customer does not have the added responsibility of procuring the properly configured server. Once the NTA Virtual Office is connected to a network, only a few configuration settings (setting the boxes IP address, network mask, and license key) are needed to complete the installation of the NTA Virtual Office Appliance. The user friendly administration GUI is designed so that any network engineer can easy perform the setup and configuration. This eliminates the need to have specially trained resources and allows a corporation to concentrate on its core business processes.

It enables enterprises to securely extend their critical applications to remote users and strategic partners via PCs or a thin browser-based client. These applications can be Microsoft® Windows®, UNIX®, Linux®, Java™, Mainframe and OS/400® applications running on iSeries servers.. The NTA Virtual Office Appliance enables enterprises to effectively restrict access to authenticated users. It can authenticate the username and password against users stored in a variety of different data stores including Unix passwords, Microsoft Active Directory, and LDAP.
